DJMarz is a Dutch multi genre DJ/Producer living near The Hague. He started making and selling real cassette mixtapes back in the 80s with 2 Technics SL1200s turntables, a DateQ mixing console, a Revox tape deck and an Akai S900 sampler, before house music arrived in The Netherlands. From the 90s he started to play in clubs, events and organised parties and still does. As DJ he plays different genre sets, from deep house to techno but he has a big love for playing old school house from the 90s rave era. In 2020 he picked up producing again which resulted in his first official techno label contributions. His focus for the future will be on producing techno tracks and remixes. DJMarz is staff member at London based web radio station questlondondonradio.com and programs #TechnoTuesday weekly. Besides this Tuesday event he is also responsible for a daily single track promo show where labels and independent artist to can showcase their new material to the world. DJMarz is a resident DJ at the Abyss Sound Experience, Techno Explosion and The Daddy Cool Disco Show. He performs regular in guest shows hosted by befriended DJ’s for different (web) radio stations around the globe. His radio (guest) sets are mixed in various genres, from Deep House, House, Tech House, Melodic Techno or Hard Techno.
