James Black started DJing back in 1999 after his love of music began to take part in his social life. He has DJ’d across the UK and Ibiza, he holds a residency at London-based Techno Night ‘Dark Matter’ and presents regular live-streams and podcasts. He predominantly plays Techno, but has been known to play House (Funky or Tech) and Trance.

Today, he produces compositions or tracks that capture an emotion or mood of the moment. Using this as inspiration, this has led James to have a huge portfoilio of various genred music – from Ambient / Neo Classical to Drum & Bass to Trance. Each track, although may not be a track suitable for a club set, is an individual insight into what was happening at that moment in time. An expression of emotion, through a musical diary.
